About the job

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver diverse technology projects from initiation to completion. In this role, you will oversee cross-functional teams, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure projects meet business objectives and client expectations. The ideal candidate combines strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable plans.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring objectives, scope, budget, and timelines are met;

Contribute to the development of customized software solutions based on specific client and business needs;

idea

Prepare detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies;

idea

Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from small 3-member teams to larger 20-member teams;

idea

Translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer friendly language, and interpret business requirements into precise technical specifications;

idea

Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective measures promptly;

idea

Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals;

idea

Actively participate in certain technical or operational tasks when needed to support smaller teams;

idea

Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and security requirements;

idea

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation (plans, reports, status updates);

idea

Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, efficiency, and project delivery quality;

Requirements
idea

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Management, or a related field;

idea

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar project management role;

idea

Proven ability to manage multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity;

idea

Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools (some examples: Jira, MS Project, Microsoft office, Microsoft Teams);

idea

Strong understanding of multiple project management methodologies, including Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Waterfall, and hybrid approaches such as Agile-Waterfall, with the ability to choose the best fit based on project size, complexity, and client needs;

idea

Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills;

idea

Excellent communication skills, teamwork spirit, and solution-oriented mindset;

idea

Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders;

idea

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities;

idea

Comfortable working in multicultural, international contexts;

idea

Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Romanian and English;

Nice to have

Project management certifications or training (such as: PMP);

idea

Experience managing remote or hybrid teams;

Programming knowledge is an advantage;
